Experience
I have a developed a wide breadth of experience over the last 17 years, working within the profession and having been employed with a number of charitable counselling organisations, local government and an Employee Assistance Programme. I now work full time in private practice with my own caseload, and have set up and manage The West Street Counselling & Psychotherapy Centre, a professional, purposely designed Group Practice which provides facilities for a large team of colleagues.

Theoretical Framework
I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist which means I work broadly from a relationship perspective, drawing upon all the major Counselling and Psychotherapy theoretical frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to meet the needs of each individual client.

Professional Membership
My Professional Body is the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) with whom I hold Registered Senior Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist membership and an obligation to work within the their code of practice known as The Ethical Framework. I am also a member of the Association for Independent Practitioners (AIP) and the Hampshire Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (HACP).

Continued Professional Development
I regularly undertake further learning in the form of workshops and seminars, with a view to maintaining continued professional development. I am in the final stage of completing the Professional Doctorate in Counselling & Psychotherapy at The University of Brighton and have an avid interest in research.

Adoption Support
Having completed additional specialist training, I offer Adoption Support Work through Barnardo's South East.

Clinical Supervision
Having undertaken training with Cascade, I hold a diploma in group and individual supervision and offer clinical supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists. My approach is Integrative, providing a creative, safe environment for personal and professional reflection. Clinical supervision can be arranged to meet the needs of the individual or group and is charged at £50 per hour.
